Well for 2 weeks we've been trying to get an RV in some type of a sponsorship deal, but people are just so afraid of politics! So we need to rent one. Here's what we're looking at. The RV itself will cost $9,500 and the gas will be approx. $5,500. In order to raise this, we have started 2 chipins. One for the RV & Gas, and one general one for other expenses. FInd them here, and please chipin what you can. Before we even told a soul, someone sent in $250! Amazing, Amazing. See what you can do.

Of note, all the concerts are FREE. We're doing this to draw in the non-Ron Paul people. So we're relying on grassroots support to make this tour happen.

It seems that our communications to the meetup groups through meetup.com have not been getting through. So we need you to help us. We need one person in every meetup to take charge of organizing the tour visit to your city. Please contact Sherry Moore at meetups@freedomtour08.com ASAP, or pass this info onto your meetup organizer. Don't presume they already know.

The Freedom Tour has legs. Things are going much better than anticipated. All meetups have been contacted, and we are now waiting for the meetups to show that they have the enthusiasm to bring the tour to their city. We may even be adding some cities where people have expressed interest in us coming.

Right now our biggest hurdle is finding a Class A RV we can use for the tour. With an RV we can cover more cities in less time. We are trying to organize a contra deal with an RV company, but if that fails we'll need to rent one, and that's big $$. Because of SO MANY chipins around the place, we didn't want to start one ourselves, but if you have an RV company, or just have an RV that can tow another vehicle that you would be prepared to let us use, please get in touch. We're also open to a sponsorship package. If you want your businesses name spread around the nation, get in touch! All of us grass-roots supporters are making this happen.

We're so excited to be able to re-ignite some passion for the freedom cause and take Ron Paul's message across the nation.

We have a volunteer position for a Media Liaison. The role entails contacting local radio and TV networks in the tour locations and arranging interviews with the band. The Freedom Tour needs a young energetic freedom warrior that can handle any sound desk like a pro, to join us in our RV all across America. We can't pay you, but you will get the Road Trip of a lifetime as part of the crew on the Freedom Tour, all expenses paid. You'll be sleeping, driving, running the sound desk, and partying 24/7 as we bring Ron Paul's message of freedom and liberty to a dry and thirsty land. We're starting in Buffalo, NY May 30th and ending in New York city July 4th. We need someone right away that can start emailing about 100 meetups around the country. We need someone gifted in communication and has the time TODAY to do the emailing.

You need to be ultra reliable, preferably a meetup co/organizer, and have the spare time to dedicate to this task. You'll need more than enthusiasm, as this is not an exciting job, and attention to detail is very important.

The first task is to send a form-letter to all meetup organizers in the cities the tour intends to stop at.

28 cities have been selected. Now we're contacting the Ron Paul supporters in each of these cities through their meetup groups. We need to drop about 10 cities from the list, so the most organized and excited meetups that really want the Freedom Tour to be in their city will be the one's we visit. Talk to your meetup group organizer now and make sure we're already working together. Because it's only as we work together in unity will we be able to restore our Republic.
