Welcome to the video of day 17 of the Freedom Tour. We fell behind due to a lost vital piece of camera equipment, but we're moving ahead now. We just closed up the tour in Washington DC at the Revolution March. What an amazing day. Attendance figures vary, but our guess was well over 10,000 people were there. Our own Israel Anderson got a major surprise when he was asked by Ernie Hancock to open the day and introduce Marc Scibilia with about 20 seconds notice. We think he did a sensational job and if anyone captured video of that, let us know, he'd like to see it. Marc Scibilia then played Hope Anthem to the most on-fire audience of his life. We could use adjective after adjective but they would simply fail to describe just how powerful a day July 12 2008 was. Many thanks to Bryan Siemon and the R3volution March staff and crew for organizing a nation-changing event.

With the end of Freedom Tour 08 comes a reality shock. Renting our cursed RV and traveling 11,000 miles around the nation fanning the flames of liberty cost real dollars, FIAT or not. We have raised $2,000 in our chipin thanks to supporters like you, but we have a really long way to go. Please consider what Marc and Israel have done through this tour and chip in to make sure this can happen again next year.

With all the RV issues we've had, which you'll see on our next few videos, we were forced to cancel some of our first shows. We're all fairly demoralized by this. We are now heading to Texas to play what will sadly be our very first show. It plans to be a HUGE show though, on Friday night in Houston, opposite the convention center where they are holding the Republican State Convention. All the Ron Paul delegates and supporters will be there in-mass. We plan to attend the Ice-Cream Social on Thursday night. We expect the Houston gig to truly lift our spirits and set the tone for the rest of the tour. Keep an eye on our daily video episodes. The next 2 days are very exciting.

Israel had his own DVD duplicator shipped from Boulder, CO to upstate NY overnight. We planned to use it for creating free "bootleg" style CDs to give away at the concerts. Unfortunately, the photos speak for themselves... We're filing an insurance claim and Israel will get his money back, but it means we now have to spend even more money on buying a duplicator if we want to give out free CDs.

Feel free to record our concerts any way you choose, just don't sell them.

What happened to our Blog? It's been renamed Freedom Tour TV. As we prepare to hit the road, and yes, still without an RV darn it. If you can, help us on our chipin, then maybe Marc Scibilia will stop stressin'.

OK, so what's with the TV thing. We have a team of some very creative people on our core team which is Israel Anderson, Marc Scibilia and Julian Smith. So we have been thinking how to get the Freedom Message the best coverage and attention we can. One of the best, but most difficult ways to do that, is to create a viral video. For the last few days Julian Smith has been carting his $40,000 camera around filming us all over the place. Julian Smith is an award winning FilmMaker, and it's going to show. So Thursday night, we're releasing our first video. I say our first, because we're not just doing one or two, we're creating what we hope you will help us to become to next viral video online. Let's make lonelygirl15 a distant memory, replaced with a completely authentic reality TV show of a band on the road spreading music with a message. We're producing this new show every single day, and it will be all of that day. This is about as authentic as its ever going to get. And you're going to be very surprised with the quality of this show. Once we launch it Thursday night, help us get it out there in any way possible and let's tell the world what Freedom and Liberty is all about. Remember that amazing guy that paid enough to buy a small island to put that full page ad in USA Today promoting Ron Paul? Well his name is Larry Lepard and he saw our chipin for the RV was so low, so he has given us a loan of $15,000 and we just booked the RV! Thank you Larry!!

We have a 37' beast that will take us around the nation, driving the 4-500 miles to our next city while the rest of us sleep.

With young voters comes youthful enthusiasm. “This is the message of the Beatles, the Dylans of the world,” said Marc Scibilia, a 21-year-old songwriter from Buffalo, referring to Mr. Paul’s platform. Mr. Scibilia posted a video of his Paul-themed song, “Hope Anthem,” on YouTube, and this summer he will lead a 28-city “Freedom Tour” featuring other musicians. Mr. Paul’s message of freedom and peace is “an ancient message — it inspired people in the 60s and 70s,” Mr. Scibilia said. “I want to bring back that era of magic.”

Help Us Get The RV

Well for 2 weeks we've been trying to get an RV in some type of a sponsorship deal, but people are just so afraid of politics! So we need to rent one. Here's what we're looking at. The RV itself will cost $9,500 and the gas will be approx. $5,500. In order to raise this, we have started 2 chipins. One for the RV & Gas, and one general one for other expenses. FInd them here, and please chipin what you can. Before we even told a soul, someone sent in $250! Amazing, Amazing. See what you can do.

Of note, all the concerts are FREE. We're doing this to draw in the non-Ron Paul people. So we're relying on grassroots support to make this tour happen.

The Freedom Tour has legs. Things are going much better than anticipated. All meetups have been contacted, and we are now waiting for the meetups to show that they have the enthusiasm to bring the tour to their city. We may even be adding some cities where people have expressed interest in us coming.

Right now our biggest hurdle is finding a Class A RV we can use for the tour. With an RV we can cover more cities in less time. We are trying to organize a contra deal with an RV company, but if that fails we'll need to rent one, and that's big $$. Because of SO MANY chipins around the place, we didn't want to start one ourselves, but if you have an RV company, or just have an RV that can tow another vehicle that you would be prepared to let us use, please get in touch. We're also open to a sponsorship package. If you want your businesses name spread around the nation, get in touch! All of us grass-roots supporters are making this happen.

We're so excited to be able to re-ignite some passion for the freedom cause and take Ron Paul's message across the nation.

The Cities Have Been Chosen

28 cities have been selected. Now we're contacting the Ron Paul supporters in each of these cities through their meetup groups. We need to drop about 10 cities from the list, so the most organized and excited meetups that really want the Freedom Tour to be in their city will be the one's we visit. Talk to your meetup group organizer now and make sure we're already working together. Because it's only as we work together in unity will we be able to restore our Republic.
